We are passionate about people!

The Haldimand Abilities Centre originated as a community partnership established in Haldimand County, between the Alzheimer Society of Brant Haldimand Norfolk and Hamilton Halton, Head Injury Rehabilitation Ontario, and Vision Loss Rehabilitation Ontario to provide service to a community need. For the past 15 years, the HAC has been dedicated to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone in the community while specializing in supporting people with dementia, acquired brain injury/acquired brain change, and vision loss/vision challenges.

Mission Statement

  • HAC looks beyond disabilities, focuses on capabilities and expands possibilities.

Core Values

  • Treat all with respect and civility.
  • Adhere to the highest standards of ethical behaviour.
  • Understand and recognize isolation within the community.
  • Value the integrity of the person.
