HA.C. offers a variety of programs to keep you active, engaged, and connected. From social gatherings and wellness activities to skill-building workshops, tech support, and memory games, there’s something for everyone. Programs are available in-person and online, including focused support for those with dementia, acquired brain changes, or vision challenges.

PHYSICAL PROGRAMS

Our physical programs are designed to keep you active, energized, and feeling your best. Through a variety of movements and exercises, participants can improve strength, flexibility, balance, and overall energy. Whether you’re looking to stay active, try something new, or simply boost your daily wellbeing, H.A.C.’s programs make movement fun, accessible, and engaging for everyone.

Physical Programs Include:

  • Seated Fitness – Gentle exercises performed from a chair to improve strength, flexibility, and circulation.
  • Zumba Gold – A fun, low-impact dance fitness class designed to boost energy and get you moving.
  • Chair Yoga – Relaxing and accessible yoga stretches and poses to enhance mobility, balance, and calm.
  • Power Hour – A full-body workout to increase strength, endurance, and overall fitness in a supportive group setting.

SOCIAL PROGRAMS

  • HAC Brunch– A community gathering designed to nourish your body and mind. Enjoy a healthy, delicious brunch while connecting with others.

SUPPORT PROGRAMS

H.A.C.’s supportive programs provide a safe and welcoming environment where participants can seek guidance, share experiences, and feel understood. Designed to foster trust and connection, these programs offer compassionate support for individuals and caregivers alike. Our goal is to create a space where everyone feels safe, supported, and empowered to navigate life’s challenges with confidence.

Support Programs Include:

  • Men’s Social– A welcoming space for men to connect, share experiences, and build friendships through conversation, activities, and camaraderie.
  • Community Wellness Dogs– Bring joy and comfort to your day with our friendly wellness dogs, fostering connection, emotional support, and smiles for all participants.
  • Tech Support– Get one-on-one help navigating devices, apps, and online tools—building confidence and staying connected in today’s digital world.

CREATIVE ARTS PROGRAMS

Our creative art programs offer a relaxing space to explore your imagination and express yourself freely. Through painting, crafting, and other artistic activities, participants can enjoy a sense of calm while discovering new ways to be creative. These programs encourage self-expression, creativity, and mindfulness, providing a welcoming environment for everyone to explore their artistic side.

COGNITIVE PROGRAMS

Our cognitive programs are designed to keep your brain active and engaged in a stimulating, interactive environment. Through games, puzzles, discussions, and hands-on activities, participants can challenge themselves, sharpen thinking skills, and have fun while learning. These programs provide a supportive space to exercise your mind, spark curiosity, and stay mentally energized.

Cognitive Programs Include:

  • Brain Fit and More – Engaging activities to stimulate thinking, memory, and problem-solving skills.
  • Short Story Reflections – Thoughtful discussions and reflections to inspire imagination and critical thinking.
  • Name That Tune– Test your music knowledge in a lively, social atmosphere that brings everyone together through music and laughter.

  • Registration is mandatory for all in-person programs. Please call the office or email to register.
  • A fitted face covering is optional to wear.
  • In person programs may be cancelled at any time. All registered participants will be notified if there is a need to cancel.
  • An intake application must be completed before your first program.
